Weekly Update 9/14/25

We achieved some pretty incredible milestones in the last few days and made more progress towards flight later this semester!

This week we'll be doing more work on the new rocket, starting new projects, and continue learning technical skills like Solidworks and composites.

NEWS:

I-Beam Installed!!!!
This last Saturday, Sept. 13th, we went to the new test site and installed our brand new PERMANENT testing stand which will support Sonoran Wildcat's pre-flight test campaign and eventually static-fires of the 2026 Rocket.

We livestreamed parts of it and are currently making a video of the whole trip so make sure you're subscribed to the official WREC youtube channel!

RECOVERY TEST FLIGHT OCT. 3RD!
We're going back to FAR (Mojave, CA) on October 3rd to test our recovery system for the Sonoran Wildcat.
