About Us
The Indigenous Society of Architecture, Planning and Design (ISAPD) is an organization focused on increasing international knowledge, consciousness, and appreciation of Indigenous architecture, planning, and design, inclusive of landscape architecture and environmental design, in both academia and practice. ISAPD seeks to ensure that Indigenous Knowledge is uplifted and fundamentally supported by increasing the representation of Native Americans, Alaska Natives, Inuit, First Nations, Métis, Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiians), Pacific Islanders (including Chamorro, Samoan, Tongan, and others), Māori, Aboriginal Australians, Torres Strait Islanders, Taíno, and other Indigenous Scholars and Peoples worldwide.
