UAERC aims to foster student interests in the field of ecological restoration by hosting local and distant professionals working in restoration ecology. This not only introduces student members to various scientific perspectives and topics within the world of ecological restoration, but also allows students to network with these professionals and to receive research, volunteer, and job opportunities. These learning experiences are reinforced through restoration projects, group field trips, and supplemental activities.
