About Us

Om Shanti is an all-inclusive Bollywood fusion dance team at the University of Arizona, open to students of all backgrounds who share a passion for dance and cultural expression. Our mission is to celebrate and share the vibrant traditions of South Asian culture through a dynamic fusion of classical, folk, and modern Bollywood dance styles. We aim to serve the University of Arizona and the broader Tucson community through performances, cultural engagement, and artistic collaboration. As a competitive team, we proudly represent our university at national collegiate competitions—earning a regional title in the process—while continuing to spread joy, diversity, and excellence through the art of dance.
