About Us
The Honors Medicine Academy is designed to support and prepare Bachelor of Science in Medicine (BSM) students affiliated with the W.A. Franke Honors College in pursuing careers in the healthcare field. To achieve this central goal, the club will host a variety of panelling, volunteering, skills workshop, and guest speaker hosting events, designed to connect the BSM major and its constituents to the W.A. Franke Honors College, to connect BSM students within the major to resources to assist them in achieving their pre-health goals, and to introduce students to various healthcare perspectives. Through these opportunities, BSM students will gain exposure to important undergraduate pre-medicine activities while simultaneously using critical thinking, effective communication, diverse perspectives, and information effectively.
