About Us
The objective of Dosed with Happiness by everyBODY Arizona is three-fold. We aim first to provide members with a safe space to better their relationship with food, exercise, and body. In order to do this, our organization aims to both invite healthcare professionals to speak to our organization over Zoom or in person and to facilitate a productive and supportive environment for members to ask questions and reflect. We aim second to provide social events for members to improve their personal health practices such as hosting group hikes, mindfulness activities, and attending exercise classes at the Student Recreation Center or cooking classes as a club to foster a community of students interested in personal health improvement. The mission of the University of Arizona is as follows: “We will continuously improve how we educate and innovate so we can lead the way in developing adaptive problem-solvers capable of tackling our greatest challenges.” Our organization’s objectives are consistent with this mission because we aim to improve how we educate future college, and perhaps even University of Arizona, students by educating ourselves first about the massively important topic of a healthy relationship with food, exercise, and body. Additionally, we strive to lead our members to tackle any problems they have with their relationship with food, exercise, and body, not only by absorbing the information we receive from healthcare professional guest speakers, but also by teaching younger middle and high school students how best to thrive in a relationship with food, exercise, and body.
