Alyssa Smith, PhD, OTR/L, NBC-HWC, EOLD is a researcher at the University of Arizona whose work focuses on improving health and wellness outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their care partners. Her research integrates occupational therapy, integrative health and wellness coaching, community-engaged research, and implementation science to develop accessible, person-centered approaches to health promotion and chronic disease prevention. She earned her PhD in Interprofessional Health Sciences from the University of Vermont and is committed to advancing inclusive, community-driven models of care for people with IDD across the lifespan.
