Who We Are

The Muslim Students Association (MSA) at the University of Arizona is dedicated to fostering cultural and religious understanding within our community and across campus. As a voice for Muslim students, we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel supported, respected, and confident in their faith and identity.

As part of our mission, UAMSA seeks to strengthen confidence in Islamic faith and heritage through educational, cultural, and community-focused programming. We host events that celebrate the rich history and contributions of Muslim cultures while organizing religious and social activities both on and off campus that reflect Islamic values and positively impact the university community.

By advocating for the needs and concerns of Muslim students and fostering dialogue with peers, faculty, and staff, UAMSA bridges the gap between religious and academic life. In doing so, we empower our members to grow as active citizens and future leaders while promoting mutual respect, understanding, and cultural appreciation across campus.

Members Benefits

Whether you're an international, out-of-state, or local student, the MSA provides members the opportunities for friendships to flourish by encouraging hangouts in an Islamic environment. As a member, you are also subject to networking with other Muslim students who are following the same academic/career path as you, gaining Islamic knowledge through our biweekly discussions, spreading dawah, increasing tolerance for Islam, as well as connecting with the Muslim community on campus.
