Meet Our Leadership Team

Our MSA leadership team is dedicated to serving and supporting the Muslim student community on campus. We organize religious programs, educational events, social gatherings, and community service initiatives that help strengthen faith, build connections, and create a sense of belonging.

We assist with coordinating Jumu’ah prayers, Ramadan activities, Islamic reminders, and campus outreach efforts. Our team also advocates for the needs of Muslim students and works to ensure they feel represented, supported, and welcomed.

Through our efforts, we strive to create a positive, inclusive, and faith-centered environment for everyone.

Mahmoud Srour

President

As-Salamu Alaykum, my name is Mahmoud Srour, and I serve as the President of the Muslim Students Association. I am a third-year Architecture major. This year, I'm looking forward to strengthening our community, creating meaningful events, and helping MSA grow spiritually and socially.

Hala Saeed

Vice-President

As-Salamu Alaykum, my name is Hala Saeed. I am the vice president of the Muslim Student Association. I am a first-year landscape architecture major, and I look forward to meeting new students and having a good year.

Jazmin Jandali

As-Salamu Alaykum, my name is Jazmin Jandali. I am the secretary of the Muslim Student Association. I'm a sophomore majoring in philosophy and math. I'm looking forward to the events the MSA will throw this semester to keep the Muslim community connected, as well as meeting new people and spreading positive values in Tucson.

As-Salamu Alaykum, my name is Rama Alnouri. I am the treasurer of the Muslim Student Association. I am a first-year student majoring in Psychology. I look forward to helping the MSA grow and meeting new students who want to join our club.

As-Salamu Alaykum, my name is Abdelkarim Kaloti. I serve as the Brother Event Coordinator for the Muslim Student Association. I am a Neuroscience major. This year, I'm looking to organize engaging events that bring the community together and strengthen our connection through meaningful experiences.

As-Salamu Alaykum, my name is Asmaa Almustafa. I am the sister event coordinator for the Muslim Student Association. I am a freshman studying pre-medicine at the University of Arizona. I look forward to a good year and a great semester in the MSA.

Social Media Coordinator

As-Salamu Alaykum, my name is Noor Alassady. I am the Social Media coordinator of the Muslim Student Association. I am a freshman with a pre-med major and a pharmacy minor. I am really looking forward to bringing the Muslim community together with MSA events inshallah.

As-Salamu Alaykum, my name is Omar Elsayed. I serve as the Community Chair Officer for the Muslim Student Association. I am a junior majoring in Finance and Physiology & Medical Sciences at the University of Arizona.
