Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is an international honor organization for students and professionals in financial information fields like accounting, finance, and data analytics, recognizing academic excellence, fostering professional development through networking with industry leaders, and promoting ethical conduct and service. It provides opportunities for self-development, community service, and connects members with employers, serving as a respected credential in the business world.
The BAP member and alumni network provides students with a dedicated platform to build meaningful relationships with high-ranking professionals and former members who are often eager to mentor the next generation of industry leaders.
First, join ASA. Then meet the following requirements:
*note: you must be an upper division student to rush BAP. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Attend at least 5 meetings
Attend at least 2 of our socials
Volunteer at least twice with our club
Proctor at least 2 ACCT 200 or 210 exams
If you are currently a preceptor or in ACCT 200 or 210, you do not need to proctor.
This point is optional and can be obtained by attending an extra event in any of the previous categories. By doing so, you earn one point that can be "flexed" and used only once to apply to another category.
