About Us

Oyez, oyez! Know ye, noble students of this grand campus, that a portal to the past awaits you!

We are the keepers of the old ways, dedicated to bringing the history and reenactment of the Middle Ages and early Renaissance to life.
Whether you seek the thrill of the blade or the peace of the artisan's guild, your journey begins here.

Seek us upon the ILC Mall before the Bear Down Gym.
Should conflict arise such as a U of A event on the Mall, you will find us upon the Highland Commons grass.
There we gather to socialize, feast on knowledge, and hone our crafts.

We are the University of Arizona's chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronsim

Why take up our banner?

Grand Expeditions: Journey to camping events across Arizona, including the legendary, week-long War of the Phoenix. Fear not your classes, for a formal Dean’s Excuse shall be granted.

Full Provisions: You can arrange carpooling to and from off-campus events in our discord. For camping events, we can supply a limited amount of loaner tents, loaner gear.
Dress for the station you desire, not the feudal lord you serve. We have fabric and the know-how for you to make some medieval clothing. We would love to teach you!

Global Alliance: Connect with an immersive international network of over 30,000 members across 20 global kingdoms.

Eternal Renown: Research and officially register your own unique medieval persona name and coat of arms.Answering the call is simple. Bring your curiosity, your passion, and your honor. No prior experience or gear is required to step into history.

Will you take up the sword, the quill, or the shield?
Join our fellowship this Thursday. Adventure awaits!

We meet Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm during Spring and Fall Semesters.
Location: ILC/UA Mall by Bear-Down Gym or
